This all happened on a pretty warm day at the end of July in Rigas Old town studio. Since we all are very new at this, it took as while to set up, but I think the end product is very good! All the process took us more than 12 hours of creative work, rain in between, no eating or drinking, or resting for the most of the time, and satisfaction with the work at the end.
So here are some behind the scenes photos! Video post coming up later today.
I used JUST eyeshadows, Inglot loose pigment shadows, Oriflame Giordani foundation, Kryolan translucent powder, MakeupFactory fixing powder, Laurendor lipstick.
So last night I entered a Diabetes awareness contest made by MadeULook by Lex and sponsored also by Mehron on MadeULook by Lex facebook page. November is about Diabetes awareness, so share this contest! Diabetes ribbon is in grey color and had to be incorporated in the makeup.
I have a few people in my family suffering from type 1 and type 2 diabetes (both insulin-injection, and non), so I am aware of it, but many people are still unaware.
I was keeping myself so busy for past two months that had no time to update this blog. From starters, I went to St.Petersburg (Russia) to attend to Nevskie Berega makeup contests: Podium makeup and Fantasy makeup categories. I was in Juniors categories. No nominations, but overall it was an amazing experience.. So when the opportunity came to attend to next competition held in my own country, sure there was no second thinking and I just went for it with the same Podium makeup as for SPb contest only with different outfit. And guess what.. I got first place! My very first nomination and at once its the highest possible you can get. I was so thrilled yesterday on stage that I had no words to describe my feelings.
I will post later on the winning look when I get professional photos, but here are the SPb contest looks:
